Evolve, Then Keep Evolving!

Evolution, defined in the dictionary, is the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form.

As human beings, we were created to be ever evolving. At no time in our lives and journey should we become comfortable, complacent, and self-absorbed. We were created to be ever humble, ever teachable, ever learning and ever ready to give the same of ourselves. All of us are not only able to receive in the area of teaching, but we too can teach. Your life has yielded enough trials, and experiences that you can definitely teach others what to or not to do.

Are you intentionally making daily impact? Are you strategically planting seeds into the lives of others that will yield a harvest that will live on, even after you are gone? I want to reveal to you, or remind you that you have in you, what someone else needs. Who you were 10 years ago does not matter, but if you are still holding on to that person, then you are missing out on the opportunity to be who you are supposed to be now. It doesn’t even matter who you were yesterday. If you woke up today, you were presented with a new opportunity to face the trial of yesterday, and ensure it is does not affect your willingness to evolve. When we understand that each day given us, is an opportunity, a blessing, another chance to make a better choice that will assist us and others to a better place in our lives and journey ahead, we will handle life’s complications better.

If you are living life just to exist, with no intentional growth, progression and maturity, I am here to tell you, you are wasting your life. There is a momentum in you, that when you tap into it and live it out, you will find out, there is joy unspeakable on the inside of you. There is something in you, that when you fully tap into it, you will come alive, and life as you have accepted it, will be a thing of your past.

Your willingness to continually evolve, will prove to you the many facets of yourself. You were not created to be one dimensional. There are facets of you that you have not allowed yourself to be introduced to yet. God wants you to not only discover what is inside of you, but he wants you to embrace it, walk in it, and make absolutely no apologies about it. When is the last time you sat down, evaluated yourself and your life, and have been able to say, “My life is going exactly as I have planned” because you are being intentional about your life? No, things will not always go exactly as planned, but there should definitely BE A PLAN. Do not just live life and have a “whatever happens” mindset. You have power and authority, and if something is going on in your life that troubles you, you have the power to change it. Do not accept being stuck in life. This is not the will or plan of God for you. Each day, each week, each month and each year you should be evolving. You should be able to look back at each and say, “I am not the same”. Life teaches, trains and prepares us, if we allow it. Allow God to show you who and how. WHO to connect with to help you on your path of evolution, and HOW to construct the life he has created in you.

Today is here, tomorrow is not promised, yet you have and can function NOW. The seed you sow today, will yield a harvest of blessing whenever it is supposed to. Decide To Evolve and Never Stop!

Don't You Do It

Have you experienced life being one thing after the other? You get past one thing, and as soon as you seem to exhale, something else manifests to bring negative emotions, and responses.

I am reminded of a very familiar, yet easily forgotten passage of scripture in James 1:2 Count it all joy, my brothers when you encounter trials of many kinds 3. For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (ESV)

I have and am yet learning during the trials of life, is when we are fully trained, developed, matured, equipped and empowered, if allowed. It is during these times that we are most humbled, because we realize, we have little to no answers and have to totally rely on the Greater One, God to get us through the trial and to our places of Victory and Destiny.

The thing we must remember is, our destiny is not complete, until our lives on this side, are over. Therefore, after the completion of one phase of life, it is on to the next phase. With this, there will be constant tests, and challenges. We must learn to control our emotions, expect resistance and trust that we will come out on the side we are destined. The word “through” is more powerful than we credit. If properly perceived, it ministers to the fact that, we are en route somewhere. The place we are is temporal and as we travel, we can capture some things, while being assured there is a Victory.

Most every part of our lives will require a process. This is because if we do not have experiences, then it is likely we will not learn, or even attempt to capture the necessary things we need to, to enhance and evolve. Think about life when it seems all is flowing well. Be honest, and share with yourself how in these times, we become slack in our trust, in the greater one. We become slack in surrendering our all to him, consulting him before decisions, or even offering things up to him at all. It is mainly in difficult times that we immediately seek his direction and wisdom.

The truth is, we are to seek him FIRST, in all things. This is where the power lies. This is where some of the tests and trials can be lessened. We can take the strategic route, to prevent some hills, valleys and detours. We can have a straight shot to our destined place, when we follow our spiritual GPS (God’s Powerful Standard).

So, before you decide GIVING UP is an option, decide that is too easy. The wise and humble thing to do is to seek God, and his instructions and ultimately find out, this is the best and most effective way. It will save us some wasted time, energy and position us exactly where we need to be, to see the success set up for us.

Today, strategically denounce every negative thought pattern. Don’t you give in to another thought that says “I Can’t”. Don’t you surrender to another curse of words, from your own mouth that stunt your growth, and causes you to forfeit your destiny. Choose your words wisely, and most of all your actions. If you tell yourself you can’t, you won’t. If you speak to yourself positively, you will function positively. Self-talk, negative or positive, will yield results. Therefore, make the conscious decision to RUN ON, see what the end shall be! Tell yourself, I am going to see how many lives I can impact, while I am in the earth. Go ahead, the clock is ticking!

Don’t you do it! Don’t you stop, don’t you GIVE UP! No Longer, is it an option.

YES YOU CAN

How many times have you talked yourself out of doing what was in your heart to do? What you are purposed and passionate in doing? I am talking about that thing that continues to yearn in you. That thing that you love and get giddy when you think about it. That thing that when you do it, you know it is going to give you Joy Unspeakable. Why are you continuing to talk yourself out of it? Is it because you are afraid? Maybe you are uncertain of success because so many others are doing the same thing. Wait, you have the spirit of comparison, so you feel you are inadequate and unable to be as successful as the others you are comparing yourself to. Been there, done that and that is the purpose for this blog entry today.

You are everything that the Spirit has shown and spoken to you. If there is a successful desire in you, God put it there. He did not put it there to sit, or to pull at your heart and spirit, with no manifestation of its purpose. No, he put it there that it would stir inside of you, do much so that you make the conscious decision to put a plan of action in place. No God-given idea is easy. As a matter of fact, ask any successful person and they will tell you the same thing. Most, if not all will say, I was hesitant. They will confirm that they procrastinated. They will even tell you that they made all of the excuses that one could possibly make, not to go forth and do what they knew was in their heart, and in God’s plan for them to do.

There are 3 things I want to drop in your spirit, and put on your mind as you read this. I want you to decide today, this is the last day I will be fearful, doubtful and a dilly-dallier! Go ahead, take a moment to talk to yourself, say self “You will no longer doubt, fear and procrastinate”. Truth is, our time in the earth is limited, and with purpose being our mission, everyday that it goes unfulfilled, we waste our time, cause ourselves and others to not get to the destined place planned for us. You do know, you are not only responsible for you, but you are responsible for those that are assigned to you. Assigned to me you ask? Yes, just as purpose was given to you, so are those attached to you, to be impacted by your purpose. Therefore, I challenge you today to (1) Discover Purpose, (2) Tap Into Purpose and (3) Fulfill Purpose.

I decree, no longer will you allow your purpose and passion to lie dormant, causing you to forfeit your assignment. Get up! Decide the excuses are over and TODAY IS A NEW DAY! Tell yourself you are successful, you are goal driven and you will accomplish ALL that must be accomplished, while you live. May you come alive and cast off every restraint. Each day, I challenge you to self-affirm. Talk to yourself. Encourage yourself, because there will not always be someone else to affirm and encourage you. It is imperative that you become and then come into the world with the POWER that has been given you. I speak to you today and tell you no matter how many times someone told you, you cannot, YOU CAN. No matter how many times you faced obstacles that made you feel negatively toward yourself, YES YOU CAN. No matter how many times you talked yourself out of things and told yourself you could not, YES YOU CAN. I am telling you today, YES YOU CAN! Now, go and DO IT!
